Are Dermal Fillers Safe?

Dermal fillers, when administered by qualified healthcare professionals, are generally considered safe. However, it’s important to understand that all medical procedures carry some level of risk, and individual experiences may vary.

Certain types of fillers made from hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if ever that should become necessary.

Are Dermal Fillers Permanent

Our selection includes Juvederm and Restylane hyaluronic acid fillers, FDA-approved and designed for natural, non-permanent results, tailored to each individual’s needs. The effects are long-lasting but not permanent, allowing for adjustments as your face changes over time. Depending on the type of filler used, the area treated, and the individual’s metabolism, fillers can last from 9 months to 2 years.

Is The Procedure

Painful?

Most clients report only mild discomfort during the procedure. Our dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a mild anesthetic, to minimize pain. Additional numbing cream is also applied beforehand.

What Should I Do If I Experience Side Effects?

Minor side effects like swelling and bruising are normal and typically subside within a few days, with full resolution in up to two-weeks. However, if you experience severe pain, significant swelling, or any other concerning symptoms, contact your provider immediately for advice.
